Birthday Concert for Johann Strauss (the Younger)

Johann Strauss (the Younger), born on October 25, 1825, in St. Ulrich near Vienna—today the 7th district, Neubau, at Lerchenfelderstraße 15—and baptized in the Church of St. Ulrich, would be celebrating his 200th birthday. We mark the occasion with a concert in his baptismal church, featuring both beloved and rarely performed works by Johann Strauss (the Younger).
